This CEU program consists of 5 streaming videos and a PDF Viewing Guide. Some of the information in this program (JM01, LM02 and JM03) is included in the longer seminar SEM13.

JM01 Introduction to Joint Mobilization (62 min.)

Presented by Sandy Brooks-Scott, M.S., PPT, PCS. Basic concepts of joint mobilization are presented including the theory and application of joint mobilization techniques and research foundations.

JM02 Bone Development and Contraindications (43 min.)

Presented by Sandy Brooks-Scott, M.S., PPT, PCS. Aspects of bone development, the nature of bone structure and contraindications for the use of joinrt mobilization are discussed.

JM03 Joint Characterisics (50 min.)

Presented by Sandy Brooks-Scott, M.S., PPT, PCS. Joint characteristics including structure, glide, type and function are presented.

JM1 Joint Mobilization of the Upper Extremity and Spine (29 min.)

Presented by Sandy Brooks-Scott, M.S., PPT, PCS. Tight joint capsules and abnormal alignment of joints cause muscular imbalances and diminished range. Joint mobilization can be effective in establishing good alignment and increased joint range and therefore muscle length. Joint mobilization is an important adjunct to treatment for children with neurological impairment and can provide a more normal mechanical advantage for improved movement and muscle activation. This video presents and clearly demonstrates techniques for mobilization of the joints of the upper extremity and spine.

JM2 Joint Mobilization of the Lower Extremity and Spine (39 min.)

This video presents and clearly demonstrates techniques for mobilization of the joints of the lower extremity and spine.
